DUE TO A CHANGE IN CIRCUMSTANCES, I AM SORRY BUT
I AM NOT TAKING ON ANY NEW STUDENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 2023.
"Since regular weekly tutoring provided by Jo, my son has improved so much regarding his confidence and skill sets working towards his SATs. A fantastic tutor with equally impressive results!"

MAKING LEARNING FUN!

WELCOME TO LOVE LEARNING!

Love Learning! is run by Jo McLean, a qualified Primary teacher from Coventry who is passionate about learning and teaching.

After a number of years teaching in local primary schools, I have set up a one-to-one tutoring service with the aim of inspiring children and helping them with fun, targeted personalised lessons.

Many children thrive at school but sadly, others struggle for a variety of reasons - they may have difficulty with their reading or understanding, have medical or SEN needs, speak English as a second (or third) language, or find it difficult to cope within a classroom environment.

However, in a smaller, calm environment with the correct input, these children can thrive and achieve as well as their peers.

If you think that your child would benefit from the individual, tailored help I can offer, I would love to hear from you. I offer a free assessment session which gives you the opportunity to meet me, discuss your child’s needs and ask any questions; and I can get to know you and your child so that we can formulate a plan to help your child be the best he or she can be!

Feel free to get in touch with any questions or to book an assessment appointment.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Jo

"Many thanks for yesterday - S was buzzing! He was teaching his dad in the evening which he’s never done before so thank you..."

"Jo tutored my daughter for the 11+ which she passed with flying colours. Jo is a great tutor and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Thank you Jo."

"Since my son started learning with Jo, his confidence has soared. His reading and maths has improved so much and Jo always makes his sessions fun. He can't wait to get home and tell his brother how well he has done."

"For me the biggest change has been that when I ask him something now, his knee jerk reaction isn't to say he doesn't know and can't do it. He actually has a go now and he doesn't get upset or say he is stupid if he gets it wrong."

WHAT ARE THE LESSONS LIKE?

Each lesson lasts an hour and is planned to take into account the needs of your child. My lessons are active, so I will use white-boards, games and equipment to help your child understand.

I will spend time getting to know your child’s learning style to maximise progress. Although I may use workbooks, they will support the learning rather than lead it and would usually be used for homework to supplement the learning during the lessons.
